PrenaTest® – comprehensive non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT)
Starting from the tenth week of pregnancy (9 + 0 weeks since LMP) the PrenaTest® determines the following chromosomal disorders:
- Trisomies 21, 18, 13
- Gonosomal aneuploidies (Turner, Triple X, Klinefelter, and XYY syndromes)
- 22q11.2 microdeletion (associated with the DiGeorge syndrome)
- Rare autosomal aneuploidy (RAA) which often only affect the placenta and can negatively affect the course of pregnancy
Did you know…
…that professional societies recommend NIPT – in combination with a qualified ultrasound – as a primary screening for trisomy 21 in pregnant women of all ages and risks (Schmid M et al. 2015).1 With the PrenaTest® Option 1, you can implement this recommendation cost-effectively for your patient.
