PrenaTest^® – Cost coverage by health insurance funds

In principle, the PrenaTest^® is a self-pay service and cannot be invoiced to your health insurance fund. The PrenaTest^® and all associated services must be paid by the patient. Nevertheless, check before the examination whether your health insurance company will cover all or part of the test costs.

To do this, submit a cost estimate and a doctor’s letter to your health insurance. The doctor’s letter should explain the medical reason why the examination is necessary for you. You can find cost estimates and templates for a doctor’s letter in the download.

If your health insurance will cover all or part of the costs, also clarify whether your health insurance can pay the PrenaTest^® directly to us. To do this, you need a declaration of assignment of costs from your health insurance company. Alternatively, you can use our template, available for download.

By the way: To our knowledge, the costs for the PraenaRhD are not being reimbursed.
